“While the Kore 85 can’t guarantee you have perfect conditions everyday, it will help you ski your best no matter what kind of day you’re facing. Head improved their lightweight freeride Kore line to make these all-mountain favorites ski even better while still managing to shave weight. A lighter ski means less work on your legs and more fun. The Kore 85 is light and stiff, which, when combined with its tight turning radius, makes for a very playful and dynamic ski. The poplar and karuba wood core has a great weight to performance ratio; and it’s sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass and two layers of carbon. Most significantly, the added layer of carbon on top curves over the sidewall for a clean finish and increased durability. Giving the new carbon layer a three-dimensional aspect reduces chatter and adds more snap and pop-increasing the Kore’s energy when exiting turns as well as overall performance. The Kore 85 is the narrowest offering in the women’s Kore line and also the most nimble with the quickest edge to edge transfer. Tip and tail rocker boost versatility in soft and variable snow, while camber underfoot provides great edge contact for carving the frontside. For intermediate- to expert-level skiers that love carving groomers but still want great performance on bumps or in glades the Head Kore 85 is your answer. Lightweight construction saves your legs so you get more from your ski days Graphene fused tip and tail reduces and redistributes weight throughout the ski Beveled top edge improves dampening and durability 85mm width underfoot gives excellent versatility and nimble maneuverability Winter 2023/24 model Equipped With Graphene Graphene is the strongest, lightest material known to man. When used in the construction of a ski’s core, the result is an ultra-lightweight feel that still provides outstanding stability and responsiveness. KARUBA-POPLAR Light Weight Wood Karuba wood core is what gives the ski its pop and personality. It’s the perfect ratio of density and weight. The advantages of combining Karuba, Poplar, and Graphene enhance the ski, making it light and balanced. Multilayer Carbon Sandwich Cap Construction Superlight sandwich construction and tri axle weave of carbon layer combined with Graphene and an additional carbon layer for more stability, make KORE one of the lightest skis in its category.
